the Wii bowling team

So Eli (from Katmandu..the store next door) and I were talking the other day...he got a new Wii and played 8 games of bowling, in a row, on his day off.
He said he was sore, but loved the Wii.
I said we need to have a bowling team... and he agreed.
Then we started to talk about the Big Lebowski and how they had a bowling team.

So...we are now planning to have a team. I don't know if we will be called the Lebowskis or the dudes but we will have shirts...
We will bowl and drink White Russians...or what we call "lebowskis" and tell people to "Shut the fuck up" and hollar "Am I right? AM I RIGHT??"

And we will always ABIDE!

Goin to a concert...

I'm seeing Wilco on the 30th...Yippee.
I love them and their new album is fantastic.
But I still love the song

To want these shoes?!?

I mean, I've tried them on. (YES REALLY) I've looked at the price tag. (We are talking rent and a few bills paid.) And the fact that they are quite comfy for 4 inch stilettos...
And I look really good in them.

And they go with everything.
And well...they are Manolos and Mr Blahnik has the market cornered in the proper physics of high heels.

Oh hell...I just want the shoes.

And they call it a GOLD CROWN STORE

Sorry from dropping the F Bomb

But...I went to the Hallmark store today to get a few cards. Now, I used to be MAJOR card girl. I spent a ton on cards...i still love cards, but they are mighty mighty expensive.

I looked and looked for the right card.
I walked out empty handed.
That is so sad.

I'll just go to the other store up the street, next to the ice cream shop (I may need inspiration) and see if they have what I need there.
But they still don't have a card that says....
Hallmark could make millions.

If Serenity were only this easy...

I saw this while driving down the street in Los Angeles. Only in LA.... I had to take the pic. I knew it would be needed or as a point of reference sometime...

When things get crazy and too chaotic and one knows that they can't control anything...it's a comforting thought that you can carry a bit of the Buddha with you.
