Martha's Top 10 List Update
Now, I bet you think that I fell off the face of the earth.
OK here is the 2 minute update..if it is even 2 minutes....
1. Lost job - AGAIN....part of a 95 person layoff
2. Got job...part time, was/is/am a cute shopgirl
2.5 Got another part time job - waitress in a Mexican Restaurant. Man, I wish I had not gotten a "D" in college spanish. Yes, i admit, I did and well...part of it was because the teacher laughed at me for having orange hair. Ok, that's another story, but Seniora Keane and I never met eye to eye. Well, I'm an exotic creature at this job. I'm blonde, blue-eyed and curvy. I guess latin men like that. Goody for me. Makes my shifts a little more interesting.
3. Have applied for many jobs
3.5 Computer died...actually modem died and why should I replace it when deep down inside I want a mac. YEAH...YOU HEARD ME. I WANT A MAC
4. Offered a job on September 12 - GSI Commerce. Heavy yes sittuation
5. Offered a job on september 14 - xCel Energy. Only a seasonal temp posistion, but had to go through all the paperwork including a background search and much more just to listen to people bitch about their bills.
(Can you guess that I declined this?!?)
6. Offered a Job at present Shop as a manager. BIG POTENTIAL. Can get me out of the burg I'm in, plenty of great looking clothes at a sizeable discount and good money and benefits.
7. I'm going to California in a week for my best friend's wedding. Crazy flight, but it was free. I can't wait. I guess I get a bit of that California sun and I'll see the Pacific ocean to boot. I'm hopin to catch a star or two also! For information for that and pictures, go to:

8. Musical directing the fall play with my dad. Can you say that I will be enjoying happy hour at the Joynt a bit more to relieve the tension. Why do I still do this to myself? Oh yeah, I love working with the kids.

I will be more diligent and write. I can do this now that I am at the school helping with the play.
