2 weeks ago I was at an IHOP in Blaine and was waited on by this sweet girl...maybe all of 23 - if that.
She kept on calling me "HON" and you know, she sounded like she was channeling a waitress that had been saying that for years. It was amazing. She switched to sweetie, but most of the time, it was HON
And she was saying it like a seasoned pro.
