More me now!

Welcome to the 2005 edition of getting to know your friends.
I got sent this and thought...I’ll post this. Maybe you might learn something new about me.

1. What time did you get up this morning?  6 am but didn’t get out of bed until 7 am

2. Diamonds or pearls? Yes.

3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema? Bridget Jones:Edge of Reason. I don’t go to the cinema much...

4. What is your favorite TV show?  I don’t watch much TV. When I do...I guess Extreme Makeover, “What Not To wear”, Sex and the City, Public Television.

5. What did you have for breakfast? A cuppa sweet milky Earl Gray Tea

6. What is your middle name? Emily.

7. What is your favorite cuisine?  Italian and then, Chinese, chocolate, champagne, creme brulee. Things that begin with “C”

8. What foods do you dislike? Sweetbreads, cole slaw, beets - pickled or cooked

9. What is your favorite chip flavor? I prefer pretzels.

10. What is your favorite CD at the moment?  Kings of Convenience “Riot on an Empty Street”, Keane “Hopes and Fears”, Olympic Hopefuls , & my personal jazz mix with Karrin Allyson, Holly Cole, Diana Krall and Jane Monheit.

11. What type of car do you drive? A POS - Ford Escort Wagon!!!! ( which got valet parked in Chicago!!! It’s been behaving since...Guess it needed to feel special.)

12. Favorite sandwich? An Anchor burger, but if I can’t have it...a BLT

13. What characteristic do you despise?  jealousy and shame

14. Favorite item of clothing? My wool sweater and my Palmers Lingere set.

15. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you
go?  Send me to Europe for 6 months. I want to immerse myself and then I’ll consider coming back.

16. What color is your bathroom?  white and 50’s light aqua green.

17. Favorite brand of clothing? Jones New York, Lauren, Ann Taylor and Coach leather goods.

18.Where would you retire to? Madeline Island or somewhere in Europe.

19. Favorite time of the day? 8:30 pm...If it is a weekend, things usually start then. If it is a week night, that’s when I can do things for myself and my day begins to wind down.

20. What was your most memorable birthday? Truthfully, my birthday isn’t the most favorite day of mine. I think it was when I turned 10 and the Nuns of Marycrest threw me a birthday party and played a trick on me with “Dirt Cake”. I’ve never seen a bunch of Nuns laugh so hard...they got me good.

21. Where were you born?  Prairie Du Sac, WI Home of August Derleth and Wollerscheim Winery.

22. Favorite sport to watch on TV?  Most reality shows on prime time...talk about mind games played. Rugby for sport.

23. What fabric detergent do you use?   Arm & Hammer - it’s in a yellow bottle with a blue cap

24. Coke or Pepsi?  coke

25. Are you a morning person or a night owl?  I’m a night owl. But I have this desire to change...

26. What is your shoe size? 7.5 or 38

27. Do you have any pets? No ( and I don’t count the tupperware that I found in the back of my fridge that I forgot about.)

28. Any good news you would like to share with family or friends?  I’ll let you know when I have a job.

29. What did you want to be when you were little? An Anthropologist. (This maybe explains why I love Biographies and non-fiction so much).

30. What are you meant to be doing now? Philosophically, You know that is a question that isn’t going to be answered for years; if at all...
Literally...I should be sorting my closet out. and working.

yes...those beloved burgers served with fresh cut fries and the cheapest imported beer on the south side of the lake.

Meet you at the table with the barber chairs...we should go "Sh-anchin'"
