Mighty Fine...


Sunday Supper!
Yes, Beer and Chinese food. If you have a problem with that...I feel bad for you. It is a flavor meld that really works.
I'm thinking Kung Pao with Leinies
Moo Shu Pork with A dark beer like Berghoff or stout
or even Pork Egg Foo Young with an amber ale.
Any other pairing suggestions?

You need to come to Portland to visit, so we can introduce you to the wonders of Widmer Hefeweizen: a beautiful pale wheat beer, served with a slice of lemon. Why, I'm enjoying a frosty bottle right now!

Alas, we haven't found a really great Chinese take-out place yet... but tonight we had Trader Joe's Vegetarian Fried Rice. Not bad.
