I had a wonderful talk with my best friend tonight. We have both been busy with our lives and haven't been able to talk like we used to. But...as good friendships go, we picked up right where we left off.
He's so happy. I think his wife, Erika, is the coolest chick on the planet. And I am glad that they found each other.
They are in the process of moving from Glendale to Pasadena. (the first thing I said to him is to watch out for the little old ladies...He said that he's heard that about a dozen times and will be living a few blocks from Colorado Blvd)
And in 6 months or so...he and Erika will be making the trek to Portland, Oregon. Just Because. Well, pollution sucks, and so does traffic and assholes and all the other annoying things about living where you do...but they would like a change.
Sometimes change is good.
Its wierd though...not being able to just hop in the car and hang out with Mark in a matter of a couple of hours time. But our lives have changed.
And it is so nice for the both of us to be happy.
