My WIKI Pseudo Band

My sister came across an interesting way to waste time. "I want everyone to do this" so says my sister. She did it and then proceded to write a wonderful history of a band she was in called "Queen Elizabeth College"
It's a hoot:
So this is what ya do:
1. Go to Wikipedia.
2. Hit the "Random Article" button on the side tab. This is your band name.
3. Hit the "Random Article" button again. This is your album title.
4. Hit the "Random Article" button 10 or so more times. These are the track names for your latest cd.
5. Repeat this process as many times as you feel necessary to create an excellent discography and musical history.

Back in the late 80's, there were five girls that decided to start and all girl band. We were heavily influenced by The Go Go's, The Bangles and Bananarama but also girl metal as well as the girl groups of the 60's. Tatum, Kate, Jessie, Mina and me. I played keyboards and sang most of the leads with Mina. Jessie was the art history major and found our name. So in between changing our hair colors to either black or platinum blonde, we wrote songs and lined up gigs, thanks to our uber- manager, Mark.
WE got our big break when we were playing the 7th Street and A few of the Replacements and Husker Du had dropped in. This was pure luck. So we went into the recording studio and layed down the tracks for our first album and had more material that we knew what to do with. We just let our producer decide and it was brilliant. We had this wall of sound feel to us, yet we retained our pop sensiblity.
Then it all turned wrong...Tatum ended up with a guy named Banky, who was a major coke head and she turned to the stuff. She went to Hazeldon in 96, but relapsed and is somewhere in California. Kate had enough and left with her partner, Joan, for New York. She got her social work degree and is working with innercity kids. Mina, Jessie and I decided to call it a day. Damn good album. Mina is in the Twin Cities running a spa and Jessie is a curator for a museum in Arizona. Me...I'm hiding out in Wisconsin. You might find me on Water Street or at the Mall. But I'm happy and I have no regrets.
Funny thing....they approaced Mina and I for the rights to use "UN Watch" for a politician's theme song. We didn't give them the rights. That would be a sell out, but a car company wanted to use "Jersey Mountain Road" and we said ok. We got a new car and some great royalties...

SUCH GREAT CRAP, but live out your rock star fantasies! Let me know!!!
